Transportation Demand Management (TDM).

TDM measures decrease the dependence on private automobiles by encouraging alternate modes of transportation. This page provides information on TDM Strategies, TDM Programs at sites throughout Barnstable County, and links on TDM. More employer resources are available at WorkRides.

TDM strategies can be grouped into three general areas: "Support Measures," "Transportation Services," and "Economic Incentives" and some examples of each are listed in the following table:
