The following is a list of Travel Demand Management -ÒTDMÓ - conditions established by the applicant to reduce the amount of automobile traffic from the development. These conditions may include employee incentives to encourage a reduction in automobile travel. If these benefits are no longer available, please contact the Cape Cod Commission Chief Regulatory Officer or Senior Planner at (508) 362-3828.

1.
During
the summer months MBL employees are required to park at the existing Oyster
Pond Road parking lot. Shuttle
buses and vans are available to transport employees between the parking lot and
the MBL campus.
2.
MBL
provides secure bicycle storage areas for over 600 bicycles.
3.
MBL
provides lockers and showers facilities for employees who bike to work.
4.
Public
Transportation is available to Woods Hole and will be encouraged by MBL for its
employees.
5.
MBL
provides on site services to decrease employee midday tripmaking, the on site
services include a cafeteria, day care center and an internal mail room.
6.
MBL will
appoint the facility manager or his designee as on-site ridesharing program
coordinator. The ridesharing
program coordinator shall be responsible for continuously providing information
on carpool/vanpool opportunities, in-house support and sponsorship of matching
services, ridesharing promotions, financial incentives, preferential parking
for car-poolers, accommodation of schedules for car-poolers.
7.
MBL will
designate preferential parking spaces for employees or guests that carpool.
8.
A
guaranteed ride home program in case of an emergency for registered car-pool
employees be offered.
