The following is a list of Travel
Demand Management -ÒTDMÓ - conditions established by the applicant to reduce
the amount of automobile traffic from the development. These conditions include employee incentives
to encourage a reduction in automobile travel. If these benefits are no longer available, please contact
the Cape Cod Commission Chief Regulatory Officer or Senior Planner at (508)
362-3828.

- Assemble
information regarding carpooling and its benefits to be distributed to new
employees for both Stop & Shop and the proposed retail tenants.
- Designate
the employee area where car-pool information will be posted.
- Submit
a copy of the notice for the facility newsletter listing interested
car-poolers, which will be distributed to each tenant.
- A
guaranteed ride home program, in the case of an emergency for registered
ridesharers, shall be provide via a local taxi service.
- Designate
two preferential parking spaces for employees that carpool.
- Provide
a free lunch for each employee participating in the trip reduction plan
(using an alternative mode to work).
- Provide
secure bicycle storage areas to accommodate up to 40 bicycles for both
employees and patrons.
- Provide
on site services to decrease employee midday trip making. The on site services shall include
a bank, ATM machine, and prepared foods.
- Provide
an on-site transportation coordinator. The transportation coordinator shall be responsible for
insuring that the complete rideshare program, including ridesharing,
accommodating work shifts, promotions, incentives, preferential parking,
and the guaranteed ride home program is consistently promoted and
provided.
- Provide
an on site bus/trolley stop.
- Provide
subsidized transit fares and purchase multi-ride discount passes, good for
20 rides, for interested employees.
